PTS students are qualified to International InfoMatrix 2013 Competition Finals

Congratulations to our students JOSEPH OTEN, KAELIR GODFREY-TAKAKI and our dedicated coach SHOHRAT GELDIYEV.

They will compete on Short Movie category at the final phase of the InfoMatrix Project Competition, which is going to be held in the capital city of Romania, Bucharest, on May 16th - 20th, 2013.

InfoMatrix is an international computer project competition, born from a desire to bring the world's best IT students together.

On Saturday March 2nd, our cyber team went to the San Diego Mayor’s Cyber Cup finals at UCSD. CyberCup is a cyber defense competition for San Diego High Schools. For the last three years our team has competed in this competition and have place twice as third place but never any higher. This year we came into the competition with three new members and four returning members. There were ten operating systems and additional forensics challenge. The challenging part was to secure ten computers while only having five laptops with six hours while being actively hacked by certified hackers.
